THE STYLE OF SOUND
What does music look like?
For Poiesis Quartet, VMD translated sound into visual identity — using color, texture and silhouette to balance four individual personalities with one collective presence. From concept and vintage sourcing to fittings, photography and the concert stage, a creative collaboration designed to make their visual identity resonate as powerfully as their music.

COVE STREET GALLERY
Art / Exhibition Curation
Invited by Cove Street Arts to curate his first fine-art exhibition, Vincent Maxime Daudin brought the VMD eye to contemporary portraiture with At Face Value.
Spanning painting, drawing and photography, the exhibition explored the emotional charge of the human face — from an enigmatic expression to a compelling gaze — and the connections we form through looking and being seen.
PORTRAITURE AS CONNECTION
Eric Elvie — Bird Person, 2020 — Oil on paper
“The professional world I live in is one of trend forecasting, image making and creative editing, where intuition and personal conviction play an essential role. Art offers another space in which subjectivity can be expressed freely.
Through my #LesInconnusdeVMD series, I became fascinated by the intimate dialogue between gallery visitors and the art they encounter. At Face Value takes that idea further, bringing together an eclectic cast of characters and inviting new connections between portrait and viewer.
The title references the multiple layers of ‘worth’ behind every personality — from monetary appraisal to timeless emotional value. Funny face, long face or poker face, each portrait comes alive through a charcoal contour, a photographic gaze or a burst of color.
Sixteen internationally acclaimed artists invite us into a fantasy gathering of familiar faces and perfect strangers. Look closely. Let their gaze speak to you — or imagine a story of your own.”
